ROCKY ROAD
so the last month has been pretty amazing. truely. the air has tasted better, the colors have been more vivid, and it's because of jessica. every day has been happier, my standard of living has been bumped up a notch.
and i enjoy spending time with her family too. especially since we've been hanging out a lot since she's had family over basically since graduation. it's non unusual for me to eat dinner with them. i played capture the flag with her brother and his friends. her step-mom, nomi and i are on good good terms, and nomi's cousin calls me part of the family.
we'll hang out, and end up laying on the couch in the sun room, and we'll lay there until the sun starts to come up and the birds start chirping. i'll wake up and she'll yell at me for taking so long to get ready and get over there.
we'll take walks after dinner and stop in the middle of the road and kiss. more than once we'll stop and just hold each other as tightly as we can, scared to let go.
i make her scared about the future, because she doesn't think of herself as the girl who'll never get married, and children aren't as gross as they used to be (they're still pretty gross to her though). she'll talk about "us" and we'll talk about "if we had a place." we've already decided cats not dogs, she just saw a cat that would be perfect for us.
i want to hold her and not let go, because if i do i'll have to go. i've said on more than one occasion when i'm with her that i'd love to take a year off and then i'd spend the whole time with her. but then nomi would kill me for hindering my own education (and probably jess' too), jess would probably also kill me. same goes for transferring to the same school or around the same school as the other, it's messy and not advised.
i plan to take co-ops back here, not just to be around her, i planned this before too. we'll see how that goes.
i'm kind of doing this because she left for california yesterday and will be there another two weeks. i miss her, i love her. i'm not sure what else there is to say. we say that at least once every time we talk. it's weird and sappy.
